BBCF Launches Newest Recording, "Stars and Stripes Forever"
The Brass Band of Central Florida (BBCF) is proud to announce its successful launch of its eighth recorded album entitled "Stars and Stripes Forever." The title track of John Philip Sousa's iconic march, "The Stars and Stripes Forever," is uniquely arranged and adapted specifically for the BBCF by its Music Director, Gareth Pritchard. Although the piece is rather unmistakable, many have not heard it quite like this before. Some things to look forward to on this recording are a number of patriotic and classical favorites from some of the greatest American composers of all time, including Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Aaron Copland, John Williams, and Dave Brubeck. This new album also features four unforgettable soloists from within the BBCF including Solo Tenor Horn-Jackson Arthur, Principal Euphonium-Ryan Chen, Soprano Cornet-Luis Miguel Araya, and Principal Cornet-Warren Kus.
Join the BBCF in this memorable musical journey with selections from the greatest American composers of the past 100 years. "Stars and Stripes Forever" may be purchased as a physical CD directly from the BBCF's official webpage, CDbaby.com, and any live BBCF performance OR digitally from CD Baby, iTunes, and other affiliated sites.
